| Well, the previous entry isn't really as funny as i thought it was, but here's the story. I was working on a project for school health and drug problems about the children of alcoholics. It was really late when I was writing it, and I began to fall asleep while typing. However, I had a dream one of the times I fell asleep, but apparently continued working on my paper, and ended up with what you see on the previous entry. When I woke up and saw what I had done, I started laughing and was on the verge of hysterics b/c I wasn't fully awake yet. So, that's the story - sorry it's not as funny as I thought it was at the time. Guess what - tomorrow is my last day of classes for the quad. You know what that means? This weekend is fall break, and I have no classes on Monday and Tuesday! Yay for catching up on sleep. Life is good, but very busy. I am enjoying classes, friends, college, and life in general. Enjoy life where you're at and what you're doing - "enjoy your pasture," wherever and whatever it may be right now. Whether rocky or grassy pastures, God has a purpose...take delight in Him no matter what your circumstances. Let Him rule your life and fill your heart. | | |
| If kids are willing to be part and get hooked into non-drinking activities, there will be hartill staff praying for rides...........Bear with me, the story will follow soon. | | |

| sorry for the false info, guys, but i don't actually have a third roommate. we were going to but because of people not showing up on move-in day, etc, there was an opening for her in a room in the next hall. anyway, thought i should clear that up b/c i kinda forgot...ok, completely forgot to let you know until someone commented...thanks for , billy. anyways, life is good. i don't think i've ever been this busy in my life, but the majority of it is fun. i'm so blessed to be back at nwc with my wonderful friends here. i have my preprimary methods class this semester which is rather frightening, and my elem. methods next semester which is extremely frightening. methods is described as the transition from student to professional, and i'm not sure i'm ready for that. i guess i have to be. i'm in a 4-year-old classroom monday and wed. mornings and teach my first lesson on monday. i'm doing a sensory activity this time, so we're gonna make clean mud (a mixture of toilet paper, soap shavings, and warm water - you should try it, it's a great experience). on tuesday and thursday mornings, i go to the salvation army king family child dev center for my 30 hours of cross-cultural community service. the kids there range in age from toddlers-5 yrs old. we (i go w/ a couple friends on thurs. mornings) get kids on their buses, help with breakfast, do circle time, and play with the kids...it's a blast! the kids are absolutely adorable...they each have such different and strong personalities...even the toddlers who are just beginning to talk. there's a lot more going on in my life, but i don't want to bore you or make this really long and bore you. so, if you wanna know more, ask me and i'll be glad to share and hear what's going on in your lives. enjoy your thursday night! | | |
